The Belfry Guesthouse is the perfect place to stay in Bellingen due to its unparalleled, uninterrupted views over the Bellinger River and mountains. It is located only moments from wonderful cafes, restaurants, and shops.
The Belfry Guesthouse can be booked out completely. We have one en-suite room and 8 rooms with shared bathrooms. We have scenic verandahs and a large deck, a full commercial kitchen, and free Wi-Fi. We can accommodate a total of 33 bed spaces.

Room 2: Twin beds – 2 bed spaces
Room 3: 1 double + 2 singles (bunk beds) – 4 bed spaces
Room 4: 1 Double bed + 1 bunk + 1 single bed – 5 bed spaces
Room 5: Double bed – 2 bed spaces
Room 6: 1 Double bed + 2 singles (bunk beds) – 4 bed spaces
Room 7: 1 Double bed + 2 singles (bunk beds) – 4 bed spaces
Room 8: Double bed – 2 bed spaces
Room 9: 1 Double bed + 4 singles (bunk beds) with ENSUITE BATHROOM - 6 bed spaces
Room 10: 1 double bed + 2 single beds – 4 bed spaces
Communal Spaces
Big commercial kitchen, comfy lounge room, big verandah with dining table seating 10 people comfortably, big deck with another big dining table, cozy little "zen" nook and a yoga/meditation space.

The Belfry is the perfect place for family reunions, birthdays, wedding accommodations, holidays and so much more.
We are moments from the Bellingen Brewerey, the Federal Hotel, Cedar Bar, Brunos, Osteria Fume, Charlies, and a load of wonderful cafes.
We are a few minutes' walk from Bellingen River, the market grounds, the memorial hall, Yoga Bellingen, and everything else our vibrant community has to offer.
The guesthouse is NOT the place for a loud party. We have very close neighbors whom we respect and we have a “quiet after 9.00 pm” policy.
The Belfry is also a completely smoke/vaping-free zone.
IMPORTANT
We are a fully functioning guesthouse that is open 265 days a year. During your stay, the office will be open for a few hours each day. You will have all available rooms and spaces but we do have staff who live onsite who are available for emergencies. They will keep out of your way.
Most of our staff are international students on a gap year.
Bookings
The cost per night for the whole guesthouse is $1250 Sunday - Thursday and $1500 Friday and Saturday. There is a two-night minimum with entire guesthouse bookings. One one-night non-refundable deposit and $500 bond are required to secure a booking. If unforeseen circumstances require changes in booking or cancellation, the deposit may be allocated to partial hostel booking or future accommodation.
You will be booking all rooms in a running guesthouse. There is one room for staff onsite.
